i think its unfortunate that the CR team has not responded to this. there have been several respected high end traders comment on this but with no answers....really sad imho.

As Herb has so eloquently stated, trades consisting of 1750ectos + 50+ armbraces did not take place before the duping incident. Those of you who think they did simply are unaware of how long the duping took place for before ANet took action. All these unknown people popping up out of the woodworks as instant mega-millionaires are….well let’s just call them suspicious. Until the duping there were only a handful of people who could even fill a trade window with ectos, now there are loads of unknowns filling them with armbraces. There are still many people who have not been banned who should have been. Just another reason I stopped power-trading, this game’s economy has gone bust, game over.

Oofus I hate it how there are so many doomcallers within the GW community it's a game not the NYSC I don't care about the economy, sure I sell my things for less but I also buy them for less. Anyways not all people duped their Armbraces some just grinded a lot for em, I for the most part find that anyone who has that many Armbraces wasted a ridiculously large amount of time, and yea Anet probably didn't get all the dupers. Armbraces are the perfect way to buy your average req 0 crystalline sword though since stacks will amount to a good bit of money.

I have no doubt that theres a lot of duped cash still around and even more "eBay" cash, but if your just refering to threads in the high end section then its most likely staged.

most true statement ever he is not makeing this up and the sad part is the other EBAYers keep letting them get away with it buy buying their damn items
